Snow Day

Waning Crescent Moon

I wasn’t going to take a day off until I get to Harper’s Ferry (three more days), but it snowed last night. And you know, Peter and Marilyn’s guest room is SO warm. I will get back after it tomorrow.

Most of last night’s white stuff had already melted by this afternoon.

P.S. Do me a solid and ask someone you know to make a pledge on this web site today. If little old folks in the 1800s can build 194 miles of canals and locks, we can build a 20 mile recreation trail and a park. R.E.A.C.H. for your checkbook!!

  1. Can’t blame you for hunkering down in a warm, cozy nest — taking “shelter from the storm.” Can’t wait to see Harper’s Ferry again. We visited Pennsylvania while our son was at Carnegie-Mellon. Really enjoyed that beautiful and historic area — the Appalachian Trail Conservancy has its HQ and Visitor Center there. Hope you’ll be able to take some time to explore the area. Happy trails.
