Waning Gibbous Moon
The section of the North Bend Rail Trail between Ellenboro WV and North Bend State Park near Cairo WV is much too pretty to hurry through. It’s the nicest stretch of rail trail by far, so I decided to lolligag all morning for 6.6 miles and hang out all afternoon doing nothing…nero day!
I wasn’t the only one on the trail today enjoying the sunshine. These friendly folks took the time to chat and exchange photo ops.
Tunnelpalooza continued. Three more today…shorter, drier, still interesting. What’s that on the left???
Feel the churn.
Another haunted hidey hole ??
Nice gazebo. I still intend to drive around America photographing gazebos for my coffee table tome called “The Gazeebook.” I’m saving that for when I actually get old.
The state park has primo full court hoops. What else do you need?
I had a nice exchange with Denise Lamp when I passed by the playground. She was biking in the park with her grandkids and she knew quite a bit about the ADT and the local trail. What is it about parks and sunshine and exercise that makes people so easy to get along with? I meet happy people every single day on this trail 🙂
Peace, Love, and a Happy Nero,
