Greeley

Waxing Gibbous Moon

Greeley CO is the home of the University of Northern Colorado Bears, among other critters. I walked past and around their very sporty campus today. Looks very inviting, but then I am a sucker for just about any college. If I had the money, I would have stayed in school my entire life.

Greeley the town is interesting to me. It’s a nice size, well kept, and at 4,658 feet above sea level, it gets the most out of every season. I like Greeley. It agreeleys with me.

I am also a sucker for colorful public art like this random cheery piece.

Nice neighborhood parks abound, too, like this little one called Glenmere Park.

I like clean towns that aren’t afraid to show the importance of education and ecological awareness. It’s okay to be smart.

My one-day impression is that Greeley is a good place to be – it definitely gets the Palomino stomp of approval.

Peace, Love, and the UNC Bears,

Palomino
