Good Grief

First Quarter Moon

Ugh. Walking across what’s left of a huge Pleistocene lake, i.e. a giant bowl of dust, gravel, scrub brush, and human trash, is getting on my last nerve. Only the prospect of seeing Lake Tahoe and crossing into Cali soon is keeping me entertained.

I did see a small grove of Joshua trees near Diane’s Trash and Treasures. I ♡ Joshua trees. But alas, Diane’s is gone, possibly dissolved or blown away or accidentally bombed by a trigger happy Top Gun trainee.

You have to be ready for anything out here. There is no need to be specific. Just get your whole self ready.

I am ready to get the heck out of here.

Peace, Love, and Yuck,

Palomino
