  1. Glad you finished that final leg of your journey after Point Reyes. As Dorothy said, “There’s no place like home.”

  2. Welcome home Mr. Ostdick! Thank you for letting us follow along through your blog posts. Seeing the United States through your posts was beyond enjoyable and truly a highlight of this year so far. To do this for little San Benito County was truly inspiring.

  3. I have really enjoyed reading your blog on this wonderful trip. So glad you are home. Those nights in the tent along trails would be sleepless for me. The lack of water along the way and safe paths kept me scared for your safety. I’m glad you found folks who would take you to safe shelter along the way. My husband and I enjoy traveling by the seat of our pants but we do it on a motorcycle or in a car. Take care and I’m anxious for your next journey. Hoping it’s only to the fridge for a cold beverage and back to your easy chair you have earned the rest. Blessings….. Denese, Harrisville, WV
